Adaptil Spray 60mL contains the synthetic analogue of the Canine Appeasing Pheromone which may aid in the treatment and prevention of fear and stress related signs in puppies and adult dogs. 

Adaptil Spray provides targeted, comforting support at home or on the go. It’s an ideal choice for travel or any time you want to give your dog a little extra reassurance.

Use Adaptil Spray to help your dog feel calm and confident in everyday situations, inside and outside the house, such as:

• Travelling in the car,
• Adjusting to a new environment,
• Vet visits, hospitalisation,
• Visitors or parties at home,
• Introducing new pets
• Grooming,
• Going to the dog park, 
• Training classes, 
• Fireworks and Thunderstorms.

Adaptil Spray may help stop or prevent fear or stress-related behaviour in dogs and puppies that result in:

– Destruction, house soiling
– Vocalisation (whimpering, whining)
– Anxiety

All lactating female mammals release substances called “appeasing pheromones” the function of which is to reassure their offspring. Canine “appeasing pheromones” are secreted by the sebaceous glands of the intermammary sulcus in the lactating bitch. These pheromones calmon the puppy at times of stress and provide reassurance, particularly in unknown environments and when encountering novel experiences. Research has shown that the reassuring properties of these pheromones persist even into adult age.

Adaptil Spray can be sprayed directly onto bedding, inside crates, indoor kennels or in the car. DO NOT spray directly onto an animal or near an animal’s face.

Each 60 mL bottle of Adaptil Spray contains +/- 50 applications. Effects should last approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Renew application after this time of if you notice a reduced effect.
