Aristopet Avicycline C Oral Antibiotic for Ornamental Birds (Respiratory) 50g

For the treatment of organisms susceptible to chlortetracycline  by drinking water medication or adding to food. Susceptible organisms may include: E. coli (Enteritis), Mycoplasma spp. (Chronic Respiratory Disease), Chlamydia psittaci (Psittacosis).

Directions for Use:
Restraints: NOT TO BE USED in food producing birds.

Dosage and Administration: (Enclosed level spoon holds approximately 0.65g)
Administer either in drinking water OR by adding to food.
Parrots: 5.0g/L in water (1 level spoon per 125mL)
Finch/Pigeon: 2.5g/L (1 level spoon per 250mL)
All Ornamental Birds: 5.0g/Kg in dry food (1 level spoon per 125g_
All Ornamental Birds: 10.0g/Kg in Hand Rearing Food (2 level spoons per 125g)

Remove all sources of unmedicated water and prepare fresh solutions daily. Remove sources of grit and calcium for the duration of treatment. Supply medicated water for 5-7 days (Psittacosis 45 days) in glass, glazed or plastic containers.
