Hagen Charcoal 230g is a coconut derived activated charcoal which aids in digestion or elimation of toxins in pet birds. Hagen Charcoal is great to have on hand for emergenics where heavy metal poisoning, medication overdose or toxic ingestion has occured. The activated charcoal will absorb the toxins quickly. Charcoal maintains a balanced pH, neutralises acids and fights gastric hyper-acidity. 

Charcoal is not eaten on a regular basis and should be offered in small quantities. Birds will only consume when and if needed. 

Safe for all pet birds and is especially beneficial for small birds such as budgies, canaries and finches.
